Welcome to our humble tiny house on wheels! The last time we did a interior tour video was Summer, 2013. I watched this older tour video recently and it was fun to see all the things that have been done between then and now. Even though we are not 100% done with the trailer we wanted to give a quick update. Watch the video below for the tour!
you can’t know how happy i am to see a vitamix, somehow i thought the high power needs might not be compatible and it’s my favorite appliance. really grateful for the explanation of systems (like the hot water shower)! thank you!
You’re welcome! We love our vitamix too! The older trailers have aluminum wiring which doesn’t play too well with tons of constant amps so when we are using higher draw appliances (like the blender, heater, hair dryer, etc.) we shut other things down while in use.
We learned our lesson the hard way…we were running two space heaters last winter and we had some of the wires plastic insulation melt and start to arc. So now we don’t run much more than 15amps at a time.
Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Thanks for your video. My husband and I have a ’64 Overlander that we are in the process of gutting (trust me, it needed to be gutted). Airstream re-hab specialist Colin Hyde will be taking care of the mechanical/plumbing/roadworthiness renovation from top to bottom, readying it for our finish work. He’ll put it on the “rotisserie” at his place in up-state New York and completely inspect and repair any damage from years of neglect and sitting out in a field with a roof vent opened! We can’t wait to do the build out and finally get our chrome twinkie on the road! We are heading to “Alumapalooza” in Jackson Center, OH, home of the Airstream factory, for a meet-up with Colin this coming Wednesday and to enjoy the company of Airstream owners from across the nation. Thanks again for posting your video; it gave me some great ideas. Safe travels.
Thanks! Colin does great work!
Where did you get the blinds? I haven’t followed you for a while. …the place looks great! I have a 75!
They are from Ikea. Thanks!
