The following pictures cover about 3/4 of the build process and were taken over a series of 4 weeks. The was based off the ultra-light A-frame with torsion axles and built on a 4′ x 8′ base of ply wood (5/8″ CDX + 5/8″ standard ply glued together). The side walls were 3/4″ sandply and the spars where ripped 2×4’s down to 1 1/2″ x 1″. The spars were covered with 1/4″ luan plywood. The exterior was sheeted with aluminum and held on by double sided tape. The windows were vintage windows bought at a RV salvage yard.
